CHAPTER 5—GENERAL EXEMPTIONS
Section 29—Ignorance or Mistake of Fact or of Law.
(1) A person shall not be punished for any act which, by reason of ignorance or mistake of fact in good faith, he believes to be lawful.
1. A mistake of fact shall be a ground for excluding criminal responsibility only if it negates the mental element required by the crime.
