CHAPTER II--INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS
Article 123
1 The Republic of Albania delegates to international organizations state powers for specific issues on the basis of international agreements.
2 The law that ratifies an international agreement as provided in paragraph 1 of this article is approved by a majority of all members of the Assembly.
3 The Assembly may decide that the ratification of such an agreement be done through a referendum.

SECTION I- EXECUTION OF FOREIGN CRIMINAL DECISION
Article 512- Recognition of foreign criminal decision
1. The Minister of Justice, when receives a sentence rendered abroad for Albanian citizens or foreigners or persons without citizenship, but residing in the Albanian state or for persons proceeded criminally in the Albanian state shall send to the prosecutor in the district court of the domicile or residence of the person a copy of the decision and relevant documents, along with the translations in Albanian language.
2. The Minister of Justice demands the recognition of a foreign sentence when judges that in accordance with an international convention this decision must be executed or must be recognised other effects in the Albanian state.
3. The prosecutor shall submit a request to the district court for the recognition of the foreign sentence. Through the Minister of Justice he may request from foreign authorities the necessary information.

Article 22
International cooperation
The international cooperation is achieved, in compliance with the right and obligations that derive from international agreements where the Republic of Albania is a member .
The international agreements can foresee the mutual implementation of special protection measures, including the change of residence and the stay of the protected persons in the respective territories of the parties.

Article 8
Refusal of the letter request
3. In the case of criminal offences against humanity or other values protected by international law, attempts to commit them, as well as collaboration in their commission, the Ministry of Justice and the local judicial authority may not refuse a letter request with the reason that it constitutes political criminal offences.
States Parties shall, in accordance with the provisions of this Statute, cooperate fully with the Court in its investigation and prosecution of crimes within the jurisdiction of the Court.
