'Article 3 War crimes in international armed conflict''
In addition to the acts listed in the second paragraph. other serious violations of international law and practices applicable to armed conflict of an international nature shall be
considered war crimes in international armed conflict, in particular any of the following acts:
(...)i. to intentionally attack buildings dedicated to religion, education, the arts, sciences or
charity or to historical monuments, hospitals or places where the sick and wounded are
gathered, provided that these places have no military value
2. For the purpose of this Statute, ‘war crimes’ means:
(b) Other serious violations of the laws and customs applicable in international armed conflict, within the established framework of international law, namely, any of the following acts:
(ix) Intentionally directing attacks against buildings dedicated to religion, education, art, science or charitable purposes, historic monuments, hospitals and places where the sick and wounded are collected, provided they are not military objectives;
