''Part II SPECIFIC PART, Chapter 4, Offences against Civil Rights and Freedoms, Article 210 Genocide''
Any person, intentionally committing national, racial, ethnic or religious
destruction, in whole or in part, or causing serious physical or mental harm to members of the group; or imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; for the
purpose of racial destruction, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a term ranging from ten years to twenty years or to life imprisonment and a fine shall be imposed ranging from 1,000,000,000 kip to 100,000,000,000 kip.
1. Subject to article 110, the Court may impose one of the following penalties on a person convicted of a crime referred to in article 5 of this Statute:
(a) Imprisonment for a specified number of years, which may not exceed a maximum of 30 years; or
(b) A term of life imprisonment when justified by the extreme gravity of the crime and the individual circumstances of the convicted person.
