§2441. War crimes
(2) prohibited by Article 23, 25 , 27 , or 28 of the Annex to the Hague Convention IV, Respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land, signed 18 October 1907
2. For the purpose of this Statute, ‘war crimes’ means:
(b) Other serious violations of the laws and customs applicable in international armed conflict, within the established framework of international law, namely, any of the following acts:
(xi) Killing or wounding treacherously individuals belonging to the hostile nation or army;
